SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT MICHAEL J. DORAZIO
SMSgt Michael J. Dorazio is the First Sergeant for the Air Force Financial Services Center, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. He is the Commander’s expert on human resource management and is responsible for correcting prejudicial conduct for 350 assigned personnel. SMSgt Dorazio coordinates with all on/off base agencies, acts as the focal point for dispute resolutions and advises & assists four commanders in development of policies and procedures affecting enlisted FOA personnel. He ensures the goals of mentoring, esprit de corps, and the welfare of his enlisted force are met.
SMSgt Dorazio grew up in Providence, RI and entered the Air Force in July 1985. His primary duty is that of Workgroup Information Management. SMSgt Dorazio has also completed several special duties to include Postal Service, Military Training Instructor duty, Military Training Leader duty, Central Dormitory Management and currently that of Air Force First Sergeant. His assignments include bases in Michigan, Maine, Texas, Turkey and Germany. Sergeant Dorazio deployed in support of operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1991. He arrived to serve in his current position on October 3rd, 2007.
