2011 Parade of Lites
For the 2nd straight year Chapter 951 drove the B-1B float in Rapid City, SD's Parade of Lites. Also for the 2nd year in a row the Chapter won the Razzle Dazzle Award for "Best Use of Special Effects."

Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James A. Roy Visits
Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James A. Roy visited Ellsworth AFB and the AF Financial Services Center 21-22 Oct 2009. During his visit, MSgt (Ret) David A Bamburg, the AFSA Chapter 951 Legislative Trustee was able to briefly meet with the Chief. Mr. Bamburg had the Chief autograph a 1960s Album that AFSA put out for The AF Strategic Air Command (SAC). CMSAF Roy is holding the album which on the front has autographs from serveral past AFSA International Presidents and on the back are autographs from past Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force, to include CMSAF Airey, the first CMSAF who recently passed away.
