Auxiliary Chapters sponsor social and other events that:

• Foster personal growth(public speaking, human relations, salesmanship)
• Encourage legislative activity (over registration, grassroots support or opposition, policy/legislative awareness session)
• Assist the base or local community (fund-raising activities for VA hospitals, Enlisted Widows Home, local charities)
• Are fun for the entire family

Auxiliary members proudly say they’ve formed lifetime friendships through Auxiliary activities such as picnics, holiday parties and special trips.  AFSA’s Auxiliary makes everyone, young or old, newcomer or long-time resident, feel like family.

There are scholarships and education grants that only Auxiliary members can qualify for.

There is $1000 accidental death insurance for every member who joins.

How much does it cost to join?

The dues are only $20.00 for one year, $38 for two years and $54 for three years.  There is no age restriction any longer. 

Who can be a member?

• Spouse, former spouse, widow, or widower of an AFSA member or a person who qualifies to be an AFSA member
• Children (no age restriction)
• Brothers and sisters
• Parents
